The principle of baccarat
Baccarat is a casino game that involves betting on the player’s hand or that of the bank. In other words, the object of the game is to bet on determining which of the aforementioned hands will win out of the game. At the same time, it is also possible to bet that the two hands will be tied. To play baccarat, you must have six or eight decks of cards and play with several. This game cannot therefore be played solo.
The role of the bank is assumed in turn by the players gathered around the table. It should be noted, in the process, that it is also individually that the players bet against the bank. It should also be emphasized that the role of banker and ponte (which plays against the bank) cannot be assumed by one and the same player.
The banker starts by betting a certain amount. Thereafter, the player to the banker’s right is the first to decide whether or not to call. The other players will take turns doing this. In this context, it should be noted that the spawner is always the one who bets the most against the banker.
It may happen that all players decide not to follow the bank. In this case, in order for the game to continue, it is imperative that one of the players wagers at least half of the bank’s stake.
A bet that other players are free to make up until it reaches the amount wagered by the banker. At the start of the game, two cards are dealt to the banker and the spawner. It will be based on this hand that the player will decide whether to stick with it or ask for another card.
